The “Hole in the Horn Buck,” scoring 328-2/8 and dating to 1940, is the second-largest whitetail ever recorded by Boone and Crockett and one of the most controversial bucks in history. Found dead by railroad workers in Ohio and later displayed at the Kent Canadian Club, the buck resurfaced decades later when collector Dick Idol purchased it in 1983 and initially believed it to be a new world record after an unofficial measurement. A formal Boone and Crockett panel later placed it second due to differing interpretations of typical versus nontypical points. The buck’s nickname comes from a debated hole drilled through the antlers—either from a fence during its death or from a club manager attempting to straighten the mount. Today, the legendary deer is owned by Bass Pro Shops.

Mirror Wrap: The edges of the image gets reflected or ‘mirrored’ over the sides of the canvas. This what you won't lose details or have cropping near the edges.

High Quality Canvas: We print on a thick, archival-grade canvas to ensure durability. It is pH neutral and acid-free, so it will not yellow over time. Its bright white surface will support vibrant, dazzling colors that are consistent and accurate across a wide gamut with a semi-glossy sheen. Matte option is also available upon request. Comes in standard and custom sizes.

Solid Wood Stretcher Bars: Our solid wood stretcher bars ensure that the canvas print does not warp or bow over time. The rounded edges and beautifully beveled sides of our stretcher bars allow minimal contact with the canvas.

Color Accuracy: Our giclee, eco-solvent inkjet printers are color calibrated regularly to ensure the most color-accurate prints. These bright, vivid, and amazing colors will resist fading for over 100 years and help your prints last for generations.
